RH Marine and in-innovative navigation GmbH have signed a significant contract focused on the further development of radar-based navigation systems. As part of this collaboration, IN’s existing RADARpilot720° OS system will be expanded to include flexible, Ethernet-based interfaces for radar antennas, making it a versatile platform for the integration of modern radar technologies.
The aim of the project is to create a versatile platform that enables state-of-the-art antennas – including the TERMA Scanter and Sperry Marine VisionMaster network scanners – to be seamlessly connected to RH Marine’s Rhodium Bridge system. This technical advancement is a decisive step towards a new generation of navigation solutions in the maritime sector.
As part of the project, RH Marine’s upcoming Rhodium Integrated Navigation System (INS) will incorporate these enhanced radar capabilities. In addition, the software architecture of RADARpilot720° OS will be adapted to support the development of a modern, web-based radar control app. Fully integrated into the bridge system, this new interface will offer operators an intuitive and contemporary way to manage all radar functionalities.
The new Rhodium INS with IN’s RADARpilot720° OS system will be available for both, newbuilds and retrofit projects, expanding RH Marine’s portfolio of integrated navigation solutions. The system is scheduled for market release in early 2028.
The long-standing partnership between RH Marine and IN is a prime example of collaborative technological innovation. Shared values, mutual trust, and complementary expertise form the foundation for a system designed to meet the highest standards of safety, scalability, and efficiency.
We thank RH Marine for their continued trust in our software solutions and look forward to shaping the future of maritime technology together.
